Escorts Kubota Tractor Sales Report August 2024: 0.1% Growth, Sold 5,205 Tractor

In August 2024, Escorts Kubota Limited Agri Machinery Business Division sold a total of 5,614 tractors, reflecting a 0.4% increase from the 5,593 tractors sold in August 2023. Domestic tractor sales for August 2024 reached 5,205 units, showing a slight growth of 0.1% from 5,198 units in August 2023. With the southwest monsoon progressing well and water levels rising, prospects for the upcoming rabi season look promising. Coupled with continued government support, we expect demand to pick up during the forthcoming festive months.

In August 2024, Escorts Kubota exported 409 tractors, an increase from 395 tractors in August 2023, resulting in a 3.5% growth in their export market.

Year-to-date sales of Escorts Kubota Tractors declined by 1.7%, with total sales reaching 37,103 units in 2024, down from 37,745 units in 2023. Domestic sales for 2024 were 35,310 units, a slight decrease of 0.8% compared to 35,585 units in 2023. Year-to-date exports also fell by 17.0%, with 1,793 units exported in 2024, compared to 2,160 units in 2023.
